2020 is going to be a year that requires us to step up and act on principles that we know are right, but may have ignored in the past.
I’ve been mulling over some of the most personally impactful insights picked up over the last year. These insights have come through a wide variety of different means: through projects that IndegoX has had the privilege of working on, through successes and failures, personal challenges, meditation, dreaming and words of wisdom from all around me. We’ve studied human behaviour, observed gaps and painpoints in complex systems, chewed on words of ancient wisdom and have also made mistakes with painful yet valuable lessons. A big thank you also to my wife, and the many friends who have had many long conversations with me!
I believe that 2020 is going to be a year that requires us to step up and act on principles that we know are right, but may have ignored in the past. It will be time to make more brave decisions that may not always be backed with sufficient data. It is always easier to choose lazier paths that are well-travelled on, that are laced with assumptions and norms.
It is my hope that this shortlist of insights are part of a blueprint for living to your fullest potential, running organisations and businesses well, designing systems and experiences, and treasuring the most important people in your life. I know that the list will keep growing as we continue learning in life, but my hope is that this will encourage you as we prepare to face greater uncertainty in 2020!
